Domaine Isle Saint Pierre Mditerrane Ros 2022

Ripe strawberry. Fruity nose that gives an elegant in-mouth texture, with hints of red fruit and dried fig with a lingering fresh taste. This ros wine is a blend of saigne and directly pressed wines.
To obtain a fresh wine with a strong and vivid color a special care is given to the pre-fermented maceration in the elaboration of both types of wine according to the different grape varieties used in its production. The slow fermentation lasts about four weeks at a stable temperature (16 to 18) There is no malolactic fermentation.

Located on a small island in the middle of the Rhne river, located 25km south of Arles and 15km from the Mediterranean in the heart of the Camargue region. The vines benefit from the deep, sandy alluvial soils and summers heat is tempered by the proximity to the sea and wetlands. Third generation vigneron Julien Henry farms organically with innovations in training system and high-efficiency farming which keeps the prices so low for organic wines.
